Engine randomly cuts out

Engine randomly cuts out
The engine in my truck sometimes cuts out seems to be at idle. takes a lot of cranking toget her going. might be related but the eletric fuel pump seems to run everytime i turn the key on and if i sit with key off and the engine not going i hear the pump come on again. no external leaks can be seen.
Thanks for any help there not alot of knowlodge of these trucks is hard to find here in new zealand

Only use OEM for this and other electronic sensors on this motor. It really doesn't work well with aftermarket
