radiator trans cooler thread size
I bought a radiator for my 56' from mid-fiftys which is made by U.S. radiator. the thread size for the trans cooler is 1/8- 24, non-inverted flair. the aod trans feeding was going to have 5/16 lines. I thought most radiator hook-ups were 1/2-20 inverted flair! would this reduction in size wear out the pump? what to do? kurt.

should be 1/8" NPT. I have a few radiators made like that, used 1/8 NPT to either 5/16" or 3/8" inverted flare depending on what I was building.
