Thanks for your quick reply. worked like a charm. folks like you make the internet great! i would like to disable ALL chimes but haven't found that yet.

Same for me. You probably have the My Key system as I do. It will take Forscan to fix I believe. No doubt these chimes are annoying.

I have a 2018 Platinum and the seat belt trick turned off the seat belt now need to do the door chime. Guess Forscan is in my future....

dont you have a push button on the platinum? The door chime only goes off like 3 times then stops with the push button.

Yeah, that was driving me freakin crazy. Turned it off with Forscan. Worth the $80 for that alone. Oh, and the stupid double honk.

you can do it 1000 times. The idiot that posted that set of instructions clearly didn't read the original topic. That is only to disable seatbelt chime not for the door open. The seatbelt is the easiest thing to bypass with wires, or a dummy buckle or buckle behind the back. Nobody ever in life needed that set of instructions

I still haven't figured out how to delete door chimes on my 2024 F250, thought I did but was mistaken. I don't see a code change in forscan, hoping and waiting for new code

See my post below. This worked on my 2024. Try searching in the 2023+ ForScan thread. More likely to find an answer there.
