Darn things finally came in, cold out, but wanted to get them done.. so..
Here are a few pictures from the install. The grill has to come out. Then you mock them up, mark and drill holes for the mounts.. Then mount them up. Replace grill. Can't do the final aim on them until it gets dark out.. but happy with the quality feel and mount system. I ordered on eBay, took a month to get them, but was the least expensive place I could find.

Remember, looks great, but totally blocks the aux oil intake cooler driver side upper, so be cautious of temps when in hot climate towing

I thought it might, but once I was in there looking, still plenty of air is going to come in above and below it, and the aux cooler is mounted a little higher then I thought. Pretty sure it will be fine. If it's an issue I will go all Platinum on the grill.. It may depend on engine choice, we have the 6.2 and truthfully the aux cooler on the driver's side is directly behind the upper grill bar.
Zroadz grill lights and kd fabworks dual rigid brackets up front. Zroadz lights with brackets out back
I installed these the other day, impressive kit. Drilling the holes was very difficult due to how little clearance there is between the tabs on the back of the grill and the plastic through which you must drill. I also bought them from that eBay seller as he was so much less expensive than everyone else and waited forever to get them but in fairness to the seller he delivered in the described timeline.
is this light setup on a lariat ? or xlt ? i have an xlt and looking to see if they fit there website says no but there the same grill
Ours is a Lariat.
The XLT and Lariat grill are not the same. Similar, but not the same. My sister has a '17 XLT. Not only are they different on the outside/front, reaching inside to feel for the tabs these attach to.. the XLT didn't have them.
How do you like the rear led lights and mounts from zroadz? Have the brackets held up...are they strong or flimsy?
want to buy them but pricey for what it is in my opinion.
traded the super duty in for an 18' Raptor 2 weeks ago but they were fine until then (sort of). The bracket and wiring harness are very good quality. The light heads are poorly made and will leak eventually due to their cheaply constructed lens frame. The metal frame that holds the lens in place is secured by tap screws along the top and bottom and then 4 nuts and bolts in the corners. The tap screws will eventually back out enough (or never be tight enough) and moisture will get inside. I sent one back to Zroadz for warranty replacement and the other one I disassembled but was unable to reassemble after discovering how they are constructed. Warranty replacement was easy enough and the new lights never leaked. After taking them apart I couldn't understand why they chose to use tap screws and a thin rubber gasket, they would have been better off using rtv if they were designing a non serviceable light.
