My first car was a '63 falcon futura it had a 200ci and my understanding is that 200s were painted red and 170s were painted blue (could be wrong). don't know about the 144. but i think the 144 was only in the '60 and '61. all of this comes from a faulty memory. i loved my falcon it was unstoppable.

the '631/2 sprint was basis for '64 mustang. the maverick started in '69 (i think) based on falcon. falcon continued to '70 and there was a '701/2 that looked like half falcon half torino. i think the '70 1/2 was a canadian model. like i said before this is stuff i tracked down 2 decades ago so memory is hazy.

70 1/2 was a torino with falcon nameplates. the 70 1/2 torino could also be bought with fairlane nameplates on it too.
a friend has one with torino in the grill, falcon on the left quarter panel, and fairlane on the right quarter panel.
army green, bench seat, 302 engine, floor shift 4 speed, and radio delete.
has 17,000 original miles on it. his great uncle wanted a falcon. he drove it for 6 years and then got sick and could not drive any more. it sat in the garage buried for 30 years. 10 years ago Pete was cleaning the garage out and found it.
put 4 new tires on it and towed it home. it still had the original points in it.

Pete found buried treasure literally. But the name plate thing makes sense. I had a '66 econoline van that had the falcon name plates.

ford made "falcon" vans through the whole first generation econoline van run.
the falcon van tended to be a basic no frills van.
but there were some made with all the options too.
