After months of browsing this forum I finally put in an order for my truck. I went with an F350 Lariat that is pretty well loaded. Ford's delivery allowance was $4000 and here in Canada Ford Credit is offering 0% financing. The dealer also gave a fair discount and offered pretty much what I wanted for my 2011 F350 on trade. My good old truck must have been upset at the thought of being traded as the morning I took it in to be appraised, the check engine light came on. Turned out to be the DEF heater and sending unit that had failed. The dealer must have felt sorry for me as they covered the repair. One thing that surprised me was the expected delivery time of 10 weeks. I would have thought by now they would be more caught up. Perhaps Canadian orders are not high priority.
I want to thank everyone who has been posting all the great information on this forum. By being educated it made the whole process go much smoother.

I ordered mine in early November and it arrived last week. Originally told 8 weeks and it took 16.
I take it from your user name that you are in Saskatchewan. What dealer did you order from?
It seems like it is a bit of a crap shoot on how long it will take. They are going to try and substitute my order for one they already have in the system. That would shorten the wait a week or two.

Mine was ordered in Edmonton on January 28 and they just called today and said it showed up today - two weeks ahead of their estimated 8 weeks...
Nice! I ordered mine on January 30, ETIS says the build date was March 3, and its ETA is next Tuesday, March 21. That'll put it right at seven weeks, including the spray-in bedliner.
I ordered from Capital Ford. I have been dealing with the same salesman there for many years.

I have never had any luck trying to deal with the dealerships in Saskatoon or Regina. Centennial Ford has treated me very fairly on my last three trades.
Got some good news today. My dealer was able to swap my build for one they already had in the system. So I now have a serial number and a build date of April 4 for a truck I ordered March 15. The new build date is about one month earlier than I had been expecting.

I ordered my Ultimate Lariat almost a month ago, after coming here and reading some other builds I ended up going back 2 weeks later and submitting another order for a Platinum instead. They will sell the Lariat on the lot and I get to wait 2 weeks longer for the Platinum...lol
They said it's usually 8-10 weeks for the trucks to arrive. My wifes 17 Escape took 8 weeks to arrive so my fingers are crossed! lol
