Problem after problem... What could it be now?
I recently bought a 96 Ford Explorer 5.0 that seems to have a strong motor. But had the check engine light on. Codes read lean bank one and bank two. So I changed the MAF sensor and cleaned the throttle body. Then I did a vacuum test and ended up replacing all the vacuum hoses along with the upper intake manifold gasket. After all this work the SUV ran strong but the check engine light came back on after having codes cleared. Codes came back coolant temperature sensor. So I replaced that. Now it's been another couple days and when slowing to a stop I here a click from what sounds like the motor. Then the car idles really low and rough and dies if I don't hit the gas in time. The check engine light has not come back on. Looking for some trouble shooting advice and what tests I should run? Could this be the IAC valve? And are there any other suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

That would be my first thought. You could try taking it off and cleaning the insides real good with carb cleaner, as it might just be sticking. If that doesn't solve the issue then buy a new IAC valve.
check engine light came back on again... Reading same codes as before I did all this work again. Lean Bank 1 and Lean Bank 2...
When both banks go lean you have to look at components that are common to both sides of the engine...low fuel pressure, PCV system, intakes gasket, bad brake booster, etc..
