Sorry I'm not going to be of any help here, but I'm in the same spot as you are.
I got some 40/20/40 seats (from a '97) for my '92 and I need the left (driver's) and right (psgr) outer trim pieces for both seats. I don't know much about the colors, but the best I can tell is that they're probably Opal Grey because no other color makes any sense.
Interior codes are the "Body" code, so DD4 in your picture describes what your interior should be. What that code actually means I don't know.
Found this bit somewhere:
BODY code:
1st digit: seats/upholstery
2nd digit: interior color
3rd digit: cab/bed (F-series only)
3 - flareside standard cab
4 - styleside standard cab
8 - chassis cab (standard cab, bed delete)
C - flareside super cab
D - styleside crew cab (4-door)
E - chassis cab (crew cab, bed delete)
M - styleside super cab
P - chassis cab (super cab, bed delete)
X - stripped chassis (Mexico)
Good morning gentlemen. As stated above, this particular portion of the VIN tag does give you your interior options and cab type. I have the breakdown for a '92 - up model trucks/vans but nothing before - I'll have to find an old workshop manual when I return to work on monday.
