"Chocolate Cake" shot
I went to Outback Steakhouse tonight with my girlfriend and future mother-in-law. At any rate, my girlfriend's mom wanted me to try a shot called "chocolate cake". If I remember correctly, it's something called "Frangelica"(sp?) and Citron in a double shot glass, and a lemon wedge with suger on it. You dump the shot, bite the lemon, and it tastes JUST LIKE chocolate cake! It's the oddest thing - the taste, texture, everything - like a bite of fresh chocolate cake!
Good thing that we were on our way out - I'd get tanked in a hurry on those things.

"Chocolate Cake" shot
The Chocolate Cake shots I make are Frangelica, Creme de Cacao, and Bailey's. I can't imagine why lemons and Citron played into that shot.
And if you ever get tanked drinking those shots, I pity your soul when you wake up the next day!

It's like the cheeseburger hot pockets - they have ground beef, ketchup, and cheese all rolled up in a hot pocket shell. You take a bite, and it tastes funny, and it tastes just like a cheeseburger!
Ah...better living through chemistry.
