I have a 1973 F-250 Custom and have a cracked steering wheel. I found a fella that has a steering wheel in good shape but it is a different style or shape than mine. The thing is I wanna keep it period correct But am wundering is there different styles offered? Mine is just the 2 spoke "Arced" Steering wheel the one I found is Straight in the middle then bends down and out twards the wheel. Was there more than one style offered? Or was there different styles offered depending upon the Type of Truck? Custom ,XLT? Any input would help with my decision

the wheel you're considering is probably 78 or later. They will fit the shaft, and the horn may work, but the turn signal cancel cam won't work
theres another thread that presents a possible solution to the cancel cam problem
some trucks had the GT wheel, with the three flat bars with holes in them. Not sure what years, but I had one in my 78

The one I found is straight in the middle then bends down and outwards (1978/79 F100/350, 1978/87 Econoline).
Same black steering wheel (D4TZ-3600-A = reproduced by Carpenter): 1971/77 F100/350; 1974/77 Bronco; 1975/77 Econoline (except 1975/77 F100/350 & Econoline with Speed Control).
Pic: 1971/77 D4TZ-3600-A / 1978/79 (no pic): The ends of the wheel and horn pad curve downward.
Just checked Carpenter and it says Out of Stock Not Available. Tooling undergoing maintenance. Must be one company nationwide that does this because I looked at several places that say the same thing about this steering wheel, D4TZ-3600-A. I will keep looking tho thanks
