1997 vs 1999 E350 suspension

So I'm looking for a leveling kit to raise my 97 E350 club wagon just a tad for some trails to go dirt bike riding. I can find kits for 1999 up but not my 97, what's the difference? I have access to a 04 E350 so I can grab any parts I need. I emailed Action Van but got no response.

As far as I know the only difference is in the axles. The 99-00 and older are full floating rear ends. 00-01 and newer are not. The only thing I've heard of to raise a van with a sagging rear end is leaf spring shims.

Not many kits out there. They usually use lift blocks or new leaf springs. In the front there are not many options because you need brackets to drop the mounting points of the front suspension. Not cheap. I new set of front springs may get you up an inch or two just from settling with age. At least thats what my wife tells me :O

I recently was in your shoes looking for a lift for my Ford van, here is a link to the thread i started.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...sion-lift.html

If you need help with this i would not hesitate to call them for help with your van, Jeremy at Weldtec Designs was more then helpful in assisting me.
