That is a very rare truck if it is factory original. Never saw one with that engine. I thank it is a Perkins. Those rims ( wheels ) look like the split rims that separate in the middle. We call them widow makers, very dangerous. The six lug rims for 22.5 tubeless tires are not common but the correct way to go. The pick up truck with super singles on the rear would look nice but require custom rims.

It's not.
According to the VIN (pictured in post #15), truck assembled in Kansas City MO and originally came with the 240 1V I-6.

DSO code on the pictured Warranty Plate begins with 83: Purchased by the US Government.

I toured the John Deere plant in Germany during the 80's. They employed a foundry in France to cast their engine blocks. The bare blocks were shipped and the finished product had a sticker on the engine " Made in France ". Then they could be sold in France without having to pay import duties. The tractors came off the line and ran on a chassis dyno. The ones bound for the Netherlands then had bare wheels put on them. They said it was much less expensive to have the dealers buy tires and have them installed than to pay import duties on the tires. Does anyone suppose this could be something like that? The engine mounts, clutch crossbar, throttle, vacuum pump and air filter look well done. The brake booster, master cylinder and reservoir are definitely a new addition. Is that a brass tee in the brake line?
