Hi.
I'm looking for information on a ford f500 truck that I'm trying to restore. Where can I get a book or workshop manual? To know the measurements of the truck and the size of wheels and all that.
Is it very difficult to find spare parts? Here in Spain there are no spare parts. I have to look for the front glass. (The sides and the back I can get here in Spain, but the front has a curve and here they do not make it).
I do not have the instrument panel either. Neither velocimetro nor anything.
Thank you

Windshield is the same: 1967/72 F100/750; 1973/79 F100/880; 1978/79 Bronco.
But the windshield weather strip is 1967/72 F100/750 only and there are two types: With (C7TZ-8103110-B) or without (C7TZ-8103110-A) stainless steel windshield reveal mouldings.
You can order the weather strip from dennis_carpenter.com
The NAGS (National Auto Glass Society-where auto glass shops buy glass) number for the windshield is W820 .. specify clear or tinted on sun band.
Glass is available in the US & Canada, I don't know if it's available in Europe.

thank you very much for your help.
I will save the information and I will study about it.
Lighthouses and pilots and other accessories of the control panel how can I search them? Where can I find photos of the interior to be able to restore it?
Thank you very much

Dummy is correct again and he probably won't find one in Spain. UPS has advertised for world wide shipping and I know the US Postal Service will get it to Germany, probably the rest of Europe? Now where can he find one? I looked at Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market with no luck. Be careful buying on line. I thank that is the correct address for a good one but each seller is an individual. Some people sit in their living room buying and selling parts off a website. They never see the parts, buyers or sellers. Google their phone number, reviews, address, and Google earth their location. It can be educational. Aaron if you figure out how to do the money and freight there are probably a lot of people that would be glad to help you out. Just keep the pictures coming. Here with a UPS shipper number we can send a Label to a seller to attach to the package. UPS will pick it up deliver it to us and send us a bill. You would probably have to work with your local offices that are shippers for companies like DSL, Fed X, UPS and their affiliates. We used to do checks but the exchange rate changes everyday and it takes a little time. Any way you do it you are putting some amount of trust in each other. There are probably a lot of good ol boys that would be glad to help you out but most will not spend anytime more than putting something in a box. The people that will charge you out the wazo (that means a lot). I doubt anyone will warranty them and those old gauges have a high failure rate when put back into service. If you can get set up to pay for them and have them picked up a lot of folks will probably box up the whole deal for $50-$100.
I explain the situation a little to see your opinion.
The truck is for sale 10km from my house. In USA or other countries I do not know if there are many units or not. I really do not know if it's worth restoring or it only works for scrap metal. In Spain you do not find these trucks and I like the truck a lot because I had never seen it in Spain.
My intention is to buy the truck and little by little to buy the spare parts in usa (difficult task because my English is low and I have to use translator) to be able to restore it and to register it like historical vehicle in Spain to be able to circulate by the roads on Sundays or the days partying.
I understand the desire to restore the truck and have something different.
However, it seems that this truck, being a 1967 model, is particularly hard to find parts for as it has some "1967 only" parts. The instrument cluster is missing, and will be very hard to replace.
How about the rest of the truck? Does it run? Are the brakes good? Tires?
Even in the US, new brake drums are not available for that size truck.
Check the price of truck tires in that size also. (Hint: "GASP")
If you can tolerate a long term project, and don't mind mismatched and "made to work" parts, and don't mind a "not quite original" restoration, then this might be a truck to consider.

There's a long time truck dismantlers yard here in Los Angeles, everyone speaks Spanish, including the 'white bread' owner.
If people who sell used parts don't speak the customers language, they won't be in business very long.
Even I speak a little Spanish and can read it.
Es su trucka 6 cylindres or 8 cylindres? Terrible I know, but I haven't had much practice since I retired in 1997.
Now I see that I looked at the truck very little. I'm going to try to go on Saturday to see it again and look at all parts of the shaft, engine, interior, ect. And I will check the measurements of the truck to be able to look for the transport to my house. I'll make lots of pictures and put them here.
My idea is to restore it but I do not care that it is not entirely original. My wife wants to do it pick up. Similar to this picture.
Try Ebay US version. There are many parts available. You can put later instrument panels in, physically the same size. You might have to play with wiring. 67 and maybe 68 are individual gauges wired normally. Later units have circuit boards. Also look at F600, F700 and F800. 1967 to 1972 has the same body lines with small differences in lights and emblems.

Printed circuit boards introduced in 1970 F100/350 & Econoline, 1978 Bronco and 1988 F600/880. F500's were cancelled after 1977, so none have it.
1967 F500/750's use a different instrument cluster wiring harness than 1968/72 F500/750's. With or without oil and amp gauges also makes a difference.
1967/69 F800/1000's use the same cab, dash and round speedo instrument cluster bezel as 1961/64 F100/1100; 1965 F100/250 4WD; 1965/66 F350/1100; 1966 F250 4WD
