Has anyone seen this? It happened after about 10-minutes of driving. Clear sky, no snow/frost on my truck. I got to my client's house and had the truck sitting for around 2-hours. When I started it back up, it was fine.
Could have been an error reading the map card. Restart likely solved it. These trucks are like our laptop computers. Every once in a while, you'll simply get a random error in the non-critical programs. Just be glad that critical program faults are fairly rare.
You can also try a restart. Power and >> at same time resets, as sometimes that may be what's required. But perhaps a restart by key on and key off would do similar.
I had the same thing occur this past week. Restarting truck did not work. I removed the fuse (#32 behind passenger kick panel) to see if it had blown. Fuse was good. After I reinstalled fuse and started truck all was well. I guess the fuse removal and reinstall gave it a hard restart.
