Grille trim alignment

Putting a new grille, headlight buckets, lower valence, radiator support in an 86 and would like to see if anyone can post a picture on how everything lines up. For some reason, it seems the radiator support shroud should cover the headlight buckets, but the mounting holes does not allow it. Like I said, a few pictures would mean a lot to me as to what is where.

Thanks so far, what I really need is when you open the hood, on both sides, there is a bracket that bolts to the radiator support and to the fender. This bracket has a lip that overlaps at the front and rear and it does not allow the plate that bolts to the front of the radiator support (that has cutout for hood release) to sit flush, which also causes headlight bucket to not want to line up.

Is this the bracket you are talking about?

Awesome! Thanks! For some reason it looked like it would be flush to the front and that would allow the trim to be flush at the top all the way across, but it seems that it dips down and supports the top of the headlight trim bezel at the far outside.

Gary, that will help me when I get mine back together....someday....
I did see before this that 1 side of mine was bent up a little and will need to be fixed.

Ok, since I'm lazy and don't want to have to do this again, I put the pictures up on my web site here: Fenders and Aprons - ???Gary's Garagemahal.

But, if these don't do it for you then don't hesitate to tell me what you need. I have Rusty in the shop and can easily take more/different pictures. And, by the way, the pictures above are from Big Blue and the ones on the web page are from Rusty. I'd moved BB out and Rusty in for more pre-sale work when I realized more pics were needed. And, at 37 degrees and a 30 MPH wind out of the north, inside is better than outside.
