New to the forum, so howdy!
I am replacing the engine in a 93 f150 with one out of a 94. both 302s. I have the engine out of the 93, havent started on removing the 94(both in front yard causing wife hate). Now that im halfway in, somebody tells me that I cant do the swap because the 94 is MAF, and the 94 aint. Am I screwed here? I would think I could just swap computers. Any help?
NICE!!! Firing order wasnt different? I was told that the computer would be sending fuel to the wrong place. If its just plug and go(what I originally thought) then Im in there like swimwear!

I have a 1990 Ford F150 3/4 and it has a 1994 Mustang HO engine in it ! I drive it daily and it's running with the trucks original intake and EFI fuel system while running on the mustang firing order .

Yes the firing order is different and the MAF wiring is very different so to make this plug and play you MUST remove ALL wiring on the '94 motor and install the harness from the '93, leave the spark plugs wired for the HO firing order and you're good. The reason this works is because the SD EFI system is batch fired and those batches cover both firing orders.
And one other note, DO NOT use the flexplate on the '94, it may look the same as the '93 but don't take a chance, The E4OD and 4R70w use slightly different flexplates that should not be interchanged.
