Assembly Lube

Is it alright to use assembly lube on a 6.0 reassembly?

Will it mess with injectors or hpop?

If you're referring to injector install, engine oil is recommended. Moderate use of ssembly lube though won't bother it.

I had to go down to a piston.
Manual says engine oil, but I wont be spinning this engine for weeks yet.
I thought assembly lube would work better but then worried that maybe it would contaminate the oil...

I use this on bearings and lifter bores and valve train.

Soak the lifters in oil,, and I use oil for cylinders.
