I would steer clear of anything Sinister Diesel....
It has a cool name, but that's about it, I've seen too many people have bad experiences after installing their kits for the 6.0.
If you want a regulated return, driven diesel
Makes an amazing kit and was one of the first to develop one for the 6.0. They've got it down to a fine science and people they have theirs have no regrets.
OEM headgaskets are best, but Fel-Pro headgaskets have proven themselves as well.
Since you're putting 190s to that '03 transmission, you may want to give Red Diamond Diesel a call. As BTS is to the 4R100, Red Diamond is to the 5R110. I.e. they have a "Dare you to break it" warranty.
After talking to David, the '03 transmissions have their short comings and the Excursions especially got the short end of the stick on that one.
have you used or know anyone who used that reg? looks like a nice setup
I'm not an aftermarket junkie AT ALL,,, but that rr seems ok. I put it on cab off tho.
good looking engine, did you use engine paint or have the parts coated? I'm doing everything from a engine stand, looks like I'm gonna have to send the block to ford though for the cam, decided to put a stage 2 in it
