Brake pedal
Hello, everyone i'm new to this site and i got a 1996 F250 Powerstroke.
my problem is:
my brake pedal doesn't return when depressed. i have to manually pull it up and the brakes are on till i do.
I've checked the vacuum at the hose going to the booster and its pulling about 21Hg. then test the vacuum with the booster hooked up the gauge was slow and shaky to build up vacuum. when depressing pedal gauge dropped way down and was real slow to build up again.
this leads me to think that the booster is bad. can anyone confirm my thinking or have any suggestions.
