Hey guys. I'll try to keep this short and simple. Is there such a way to just eliminate my fuel bowl? I think it's leaking, but I can't tell from where because it's just too busy in the engine valley. I don't want to install and electric fuel pump (yet). I just want to eliminate the fuel bowl and replace it with a filter in a different location. Thanks!!

Sure, but it's not going to save you much over full efuel. The mechanical pump is 2 stage (low and high pressure sides). Leaving the suction line from the tank alone, you could take the low pressure supply from the bowl and feed it to a remote filter; then run a line from the filter back to bottom of the pump which is the intake for the high pressure side. Then you need either an aftermarket regulator or perform the 'tightwad mod'.

At this point you are only saving on the electric pump and feed lines to the back of the heads (or get the proper ORB fitting to use the stock lines).

If you want to keep the bowl till you're ready for efuel, a reseal kit is fairly cheap and easy to do. If your bowl is cracked and you need a new one, PM me; I've got one to get rid of.
