I've just installed my 2nd bump steering column in to my 68 F100 (former 3sp on the tree). When I converted it to power steering a couple of years ago I was never happy with the worn 76 column I put in. I had a spare 77 column I rebuilt and today I swapped it in. I thought I'd post the wiring for anyone else doing the same. I cut the 77 plug off and put the 68 plugs on. There's also neutral safety switch on the column (I didn't use it because my 79 C4 trans had it on the trans)


1976/77 auto column ........................ 68 F100
.................................................. 2 wire plug:
yellow w/ blk stripe ........................blue w/ ?yellow/white stripe
dark green ....................................orange w/ blue stripe

.................................................. 5 wire plug:
dark blue w/ yellow stripe................navy w/ yellow stripe
light green w/ white stripe...............blue w/ white stripe
white w/ blue stripe........................white w/ blue stripe
light blue......................................navy blue
red w/ black stripe.........................dark green


blue w/ red stripe - for the PRND21 lite > attach to dash lights
white w/ red stripe - from the emergency flasher switch
