f250 vs f350
I know this has been brought up before but I heard an interesting discussion at an RV show. The salesman and prospective buyers were deciding whether he needed aF250 or F350 to pull his new Rv.Neither of them mentioned gearing. I have 2 similar trucks in our small fleet.
2011 F350 6.2,3.73 11,000 GVWR
2012 F250 6.2,4.30 10,000 GVWR
The difference is in towing.
F250 22,000 GCWR
F350 19,000 GCWR

No brainer. In America bigger is better. 350 is bigger than 250. Got to be better.
I heard when I bought my 250 in 2000: insurance could be less on the 350 because of the purchasers of the 250 tended to be younger males vs professional tradesmen on the 350. Makes sense but I never looked into it.

Where I live they have a luxury tax on the F250s but the F350s are considered a "work vehicle" so they are exempt. With this, the cost is similar. My F150 tows enough but I can't put much in the bed while towing. I decided on the F350 6.7 as I plan on upgrading travel trailers in the next few years as I approach retirement.
