ABS Light on, Speedometer, and Odometer not working. Flashing OD light. ***Resolved***
Howdy yall, Its been a while since I've been on the boards here. Sold my 96 F350 about a year and a half ago and just picked up a e99 a about 6 months ago. Needing some help and figured I'd stop in the best place I know!!!

As the title say the ABS Light is on, the Speedometer, and Odometer are not working, and the OD light is flashing.
When I bought the truck, I replaced all the front end components. Including upgrading to 2000 style hubs and brakes.
I have read thread after thread on the symptoms and everything comes back to changing the VSS on the rear diff. I have replaced it twice, the first time with an after market, the second time with an OEM.
When I first started noticing an issue, the speedometer dropped out and came right back in. Later on it did the same thing but right after the ABS light came on. Got home, turned the truck off, back on and everything was back to normal. Headed back out a while later and the ABS light came on and stayed on. Every so often the speedometer would drop out. Then later the OD light started flashing. Found a place to pull over turned the truck off, back on and all back to normal. A few miles down the road and it started back over.
After some research, I replaced the VSS, and the problem seemed to go away. Headed out for a weekend trip, and the problem started all back over from square one. Remind you the truck runs fine with no issues, that I can tell anyways. On the way home the ABS light stays on, the OD light keeps flashing, Speedometer was still working. A couple days later the speedometer stopped working. (I just noticed this morning the odometer not working.)
Changed the VSS to the OEM and no change at all.
I'm getting ready to head out Sunday morning on a 1000 mile round trip and want to make sure the truck isn't going to be harmed.
I've seen some people talk about ohming the connector out, but never seen instructions on what to do.
I did have an issue with the windshield leaking. Replaced it and as far as I can tell its no longer leaking. The GEM, and fuse box has been replaced as well, due to it being all corroded.
I changed the diff fluid in it back when I was working on the truck, and everything looked good on the inside.
Anything else yall need to know, just let me know.

I do have an obdlink module. However I haven't bought the full version of forscan. Is it worth it? I know the obdlink app doesn't like my truck. Here is the list from forscan that I have. I never did unhook the batteries after changing the vss and leaving them undone. But I've tried clearing the codes and theyou never seem to go away. I know my truck has a lot of issues, but I haven't gotten around to trying to fix them all. That's coming up before long.

A little more background on the truck. I took it for a test drive. Pulled up to a stop sign on the way back and thought it was a 4 way stop. Ended up pulling out in front of a lady and she ran into the passenger side wheel. Not much damage to the truck. Replaced all that. Found multiple Ground wires going every where, I bet I pulled out 50' of ground wire. Replaced the batteries. All new power cables. Cleaned the engine bay, and under the truck, it was nasty. That was all 4-6 months ago and haven't had any issues until now.

2001 7.3 SD. 197k.. I have read through the string and still have a problem
ABS light on, Speedometer flatline, Flashing O/D on shift. Replaced the VSS on the rear yoke, No improvement. Little heavy oil on old sensor. Connection was good and both tabs intact, no corrosion. Cable routes fine over yolk, no hangups.. I am going to try and clean battery terminals and reapply.
Subsequently now my turn signals don't work, the stick indexes but no dash light or sound, hazards work completely fine. This could be a weird coincidence.. Any suggestions beyond what has been said. I won't discount the new durmast VSS i bought is bad but not sure..
