Well that is great news!!! Let's hope you found the root problem and all the collateral damage. If those o rings tore up quickly after that hpop went I'd be pulling a test injector at 500 miles to give it a one over.
Nice workshop btw, however I didn't see any beverage!?
Bryon, reps sent. Great job and thanks for sharing ..
Thank ya Jim! Much appreciated.

Oh there were beverages alright...over behind the passenger side on the tool cabinet. I ain't pulling nuthin' for awhile. If it grenades, so be it. I'm tired of working on his thing for awhile LOL!!
That is good news for sure! I hope my scenario with my replacement motor goes well when I get around to throwing it in.
I'd think if the motor runs well and the next time you change oil and it looks good, you're probably safe as long as you keep up on maintenance! Maybe it wouldn't hurt to check compression as well, but if those all come up good I think the motor will probably be fine for a long time. It probably would be good to send the next oil change out to blackstone labs to see what they say, I still have yet to send my oil sample out from the motor sitting in my Bronco.
Yeah like I few others have said I'd just run it if it seems to be good now. Personally I'd probably do a few frequent oil changes to ensure that the flakes were out but wouldn't worry too much beyond that. Glad to hear you hopefully solved this issue!
Just a little update. I took the truck on a 200 mile trip family trip yesterday. I was checking every parameter every 5 minutes. It kinda sucked. The good news is that it didn't use ANY oil and runs like it's new. I'm not sure what his fate is yet. We will see. He seems like he's fine now, but only time will tell.

thats 1/5 of 1000 so you are almost there lol
I think he gonna be a-ok ,I just can feel it in my bones lmao
After talking to the owner of the junk yard they did throw obs parts at it since most of of the oem e99 stuff got damaged and burnt when it wrecked, I'm OK with that I'm keeping all the obs stuff for myself. The engine I got from the junk yard has AA injectors and look at what I found
Double O rings on the injectors well at least 4 of them.
