I love the Ex platform, but aint no damn way. Nope, I wouldn't pay that much for it brand new, much less 12 years old.

I can't think of many ways you can go wrong at $2400. Even if it was in poor shape you could come out ahead on repairs.

All it needs is a rear caliper, maybe. It sounds like the pad is super low and slipped out of the bracket. So maybe a caliper slider is seized. Either way as you said at $2400 I can't go wrong.

$2400 Nice deal I think maybe rusty underneath. I know Buffalo area all too well I grew up right between Buffalo and Rochester. I would still but buy it for $2400 or maybe little less.

There's no pictures of the passenger side, might be some body damage. Also, if it spent it's entire life in Buffalo then count on rusty rocker panels. Otherwise it looks pretty solid and complete for a $2400 Ex.

Picked it up today. rockers are all clean except a spot on the pass side which cant be seen unless right on it. Underside looks like a 16yr old truck but not bad at all considering where its from. No body damage at all. Once i get her cleaned up i'll take some pics and start a thread for it. Planning on some upgrades already lol
