They need pay stubs or at least mine did. I left my job where I had xplan, remember the pin but they want to make sure you didn't just pick it up off the street. I got as good or better than xplan on the truck I just purchased.
An X plan has to be assigned to an individual. His/her name has to be on it. Whether you get it from a Ford employee or EAA or the Mustang club it will still have your name attached to it.

Good call, you have to have the partner code to enter on the website then you need to go in and get a pin which is assigned to you and will need to be verified that you are eligible for a pin from that partner code.
I should have said I remember the partner code...but can no longer support getting a pin.
I did mine through work (tier 1 supplier partner code) got the pin and emailed it to the salesman. I still had to show him my work badge when I picked up my truck to prove I worked there. He said that was fine, but pay stub would have worked also.
