The spinny power thingy isnt doing what its spo'ster. Is there a wire i can test to detirmine if its the regulator or the alternator?

It was the regulator. Swapped it with a spare FoMoCo and good to go.

That's funny as every time I have a charge issue and it's the regulator it's overcharging, glad to hear you got it 25$ is a lot better than $125!
