Spend last night & today in church, we had one of our State people here to teach Discipleship. Lots of great fellowship & good food. Not to mention a great teaching.
Had a great weekend here. Saturday I went with Dave and another member of the local Bronco club on an exploratory mission. They wanted to see if we could make it to the Dumont Dunes in Cali by way of trails instead of highway.
We succeeded, but had to return by highway due to freak accident involving a screw and Dave's radiator. We were able to do a trail fix and got him home safely.
My burly escort at the start of our adventure. Funny how Sundays trip ended where Saturdays began.
A gratuitous shot of Dave's BA Bronco
And a shot of us following behind Dave after the trail fix to make sure there were no issues.
Sunday, the minion and I went out with our local 4x4 club, Vegas Valley 4 Wheelers. It was a run that goes over Mt. Potosi and ends at the Pioneer Saloon.
Had a great time with friends, good food, and great locally made Sasparilla on tap.
Greg,
Great pictures, sounds like a fun time. I remember in my younger days doing a lot of travels like that. The wife & I use to travel the back roads of Nevada. One summer we traveled 20,000 miles of on & off road travels from Southern NV to the far Northern part of the State.
