Remote Starter..Ford Tech?

Found this on the auction site for $169. It's not OEM. The guy directed me to this video. It show it being installed in a 150 but it is the same for the 250 according to him. Not sure I like the idea of tapping lock 3 times but other than that it looks pretty good.

I special ordered the truck so it came from the factory but I would think the add on Ford kit would have the same function's

The ford remote access lets you start stop lock or unlock from any where in the world if need be because it uses cell service which is $49 dollars a year

So do you have a remote start button on your key , or do you have the separate two way remote start fob?
anyway you could post a picture of your remote ?

No I have the key fob that came with my truck it hasn't changed, the remote access that ford sells over the parts counter works with a phone app. When you use the app by pressing the start icon after a few seconds you will hear your truck crank and start over your phone speaker to let you know it started. It works over the cell towers so you don't need to worry about distance. Maybe I am confused about this post I was talking about remote access not remote start I know nothing about adding remote start, it came on my platinum I added remote access. Sorry if I confused anyone.
