I got the carpet installed, made a shifter boot, put throttle pedal, steering column etc. back in, I got the carpet installed on the back wall I made the backing out of blackboard (used my upholstery shops) no pic yet though because I want to make a couple finish pieces from the door jam to the carpet, believe me this was a project! I'm no upholstery or carpet guy obviously!
Looks good. I like the brass knuckles for the vent. What are the particulars on the shifter ?
LOKAR 32" double bend for C6 Ford. as well as the throttle, e-brake etc. should have some pic with the seat in maybe tonight, need to buy and install side glass before I can put my door panels in.
here's a pic with the seat back in. Found this Alligator upholstered seat at a swap meet for $180. that included the back seat too, I'll
use some of the material from the back seat for the arm rests & sun visors, think it was from a 57 chevy supposedly, had to build new mounting brackets etc, but did them the same as the door panels, ground metal with red candy over top. Thinking of getting the Mid fifty ABS headliner, and covering that with either red vinyl or this same alligator stuff if I can find it. Has anyone used the ABS head liner?
