The previous owner put some pretty aggressive tread on there, I'm going to go a bit more conservative in the summer and try to bump up the MPG
Either way, the price was right. It fits me and all my kids. And it's already done its job a few times over.
I'm happy. I wish a flareside box fit - I love the looks of that but I'll live.
The only thing I can't figure out is programming a new keyfob. I've followed every tutorial here and everywhere else. The only thing I can figure is maybe in '01 the XLT had it as an option.
mine had a little white box, up under the dash, above the steering column. It had the 5 digit code for the door buttons written on it...If you have no box, (and apparently no exterior door buttons) then you probably don't have the ability to setup the remote.
