The previous owner put some pretty aggressive tread on there, I'm going to go a bit more conservative in the summer and try to bump up the MPG

The only thing I can't figure out is programming a new keyfob. I've followed every tutorial here and everywhere else. The only thing I can figure is maybe in '01 the XLT had it as an option.
mine had a little white box, up under the dash, above the steering column. It had the 5 digit code for the door buttons written on it...If you have no box, (and apparently no exterior door buttons) then you probably don't have the ability to setup the remote.
