The DPF % to full is disabled from the factory. It has to be enabled with IDS at a dealer to be seen. If you're saying that your truck has had that screen from the get go, then someone at your dealer enabled it or Ford neglected to disable it as per the norm when it was built.
Why are you guys having to have this done? Its on the main menu. Are you talking about the dpf % full? My truck does that?
Mine doesn't. I'm not an expert but I believe if your order the OCR option (operator commanded regen) you get the % indicator. Otherwise you don't.
I would prefer to monitor the filter and plan my interstate trips around it rather than let a regen get started only to pull off and work at a job site for hours, then let it start back up.
