Hi Sy. Great to have you aboard!

Maybe we finally got a sane one to join the party - or not. Either way, the FTE 1948-1960 nuthouse welcomes you. If you read a few selected threads from the past, you'll understand what I mean. Greatest folks around. Sometimes you might get the feeling that most of us have removed one too many screw from our own heads.

We are supposed to have screws in our head. Dang it I knew something was wrong. I thought I left them out of my pacemaker when I rebuilt it.

Welcome to FTE SY.

This is the nice lady that has my VISA number memorized.

Most of my aftermarket parts are from Mid-Fifty. Great service.

Last time I checked your account Dewayne, you were maxed out. Guess Sy will have to memorize somebody else's card. Oh, Sy? My card is maxed out too so you're out of luck there as well.

Sy,

O Great and Noble one tell us which A/C systems have you sold the majority of? John Niolon started a post a few weeks about putting A/C in a 53' My 55 has A/C that I have not quite dialed in yet and Sy inquiring minds just want to know. As some others have said above Thanks for all you have for the hobby. You know you are only non-family female whose name I can call and the spouse not give me the blues over. ha ha

Friend called me and said I better look into this site this morning. Gee a girl could just blush, thanks for the kind words guys. "Tacson" gets the gold star!!!!! Don't worry guys I have lots of charge cards memorized, just anytime you need anything we will be happy to "swipe" away!!!! RE: AC, have sold more Old air, Because, up uniil a couple of years ago I did not like the Vintage mounting system. Old air style fits in stock heater mounting holes, Both systems cool the same etc. In last couple of years I have been happier with the vintage system, the unit is smaller and easier to install than it was. The Black plastic underdash piece which I did not like much is better and the controls are better now. If you want to run the hoses anywhere but through the original heater hole go with Old Air, much easier. If you don't want the plastic under dash thing go Old Air. If you want round louvers or the Fiberglass underdash, which I think is a lot nicer looking, go with old air. Out under the hood there are some differences too, dryer mounting, etc so..................Uh, clear as mud huh!!!!! this is getting to be too long, I have charge cards and need to go shopping now!!! Sy
