My Girl needs a Bra

I have been searching without any luck for a front end mask for my 70. Does anyone know of a company that makes or sells them. I would like to find one that not only covers the paint but also has mesh over the grill.

Too old, but visit an auto upulstory shop, a truck tarp shop, or a tent-making shop to have one built.

Check out alaska tent and tarp co. They have grill covers for a lot of trucks on hand, If they don't have it, they will make it. They were a great company to do the hard jobs, when I lived up there(98-02).

Caught my attention. I would assume there would be a newer body style that would still fit your 70.

Looks like that one barely covers the paint.

Nice pic but it's not Wimbledon White.
If there is one made by a tent, etc., company make sure something soft is sewed to the underside of it to protect the paint.

There are a couple modern solutions. One popular way to protect the paint now is to paint on Plasti-Dip. This protects from bug debris and rock chips, without scuffing the paint due to wind and dust. There are also clear vinyl wrap films, you can get the film in bulk and cut it yourself. This is marginally better as the sunlight can still get through and the paint will fade more evenly.

Thanks for the info. What I'm needing is mainly something to keep the bugs and those little nats from going through the grill. About the only time I drive the truck is to shows and cruise-ins and I might get it out every once and a while on a pretty day in the winter just to run it a little. The paint on the outside wipes off pretty easy with a little detailer, but whose little bugs go though the radiator and get all over the fan, motor and even the firewall and they are a pain to clean off there. I'm planning on making some shows a little further from home, so wanting to avoid as mush clean up as I can. I talked with the guy that does my upholstery work today and he suggested a screen of some kind in front of the radiator behind the grill, so I may look into that. Thanks for all the ideas anyway.

The problem with the screen set up is, you'll still need to clean the screen. You won't be able to pull it off and clean it if it's between the grille and radiator. I'm sure you can design a screen that can snap on in front of the grille and be easily removed when you get to a show. No bugs no unsightly screen with bugs stuck to it.
Use your creativeness to design a snap on or clip on that you can be removed for easy cleaning.
