Another oblivious question to make sure I can safely run 450-500 hp and tq, can the stock T18 handle this much hp and tq? Obviously I´ll be nicer and no high rpm clutch dumps on dry pavement and wont rev it up too much
And more. You may need to look at the clutch, but the T18 should be able to handle all you can put down.
I'm showing up to this thread late and haven't read the whole thread, but I just saw the question on the T18 and didn't know if switching to a steel flywheel was mentioned. It will be less likely to shatter than a cast flywheel.
Basically the same topic here, but more discussion about the rest of the truck. Sure, you can run all that power through a T18. That will be fun, especially if you self-limit your revs. Are you talking about holding a 6000 RPM motor to 3500?

This forum has achieved a lot more attention than I was expecting and I'm pretty glad about that. At the moment unless my pocket gets fatter I'll be purchasing the 445 stroker kit with stock heads for the time being until I get some more money then purchase new heads
