Spot lights

Has anyone figured out how to tie in the spotlights on the mirrors to the high beams so they both are on once you had them bypassed to stay on about 5 mph?

I drive on a lot of back and unlighted roads and they do shine the ditches for deer and other critters well enough to help.

Yes. Someone figured out how to do this to where the speed limit is removed. It involves installing a wire jumper t the mirror housing plug. It was on this forum; the reference might have been from the F-150 forum with the same optional spot lights.

I wish these were a little brighter. They are barely brighter than the puddle lamps under the mirrors. It is a cool, hidden feature...but they need a slightly longer reach. Just be careful about not blinding other drivers.

I would like to get them to work with just the automatic highbeams and then I shouldn't have to worry.

That might be harder to achieve...

Someone should pop the cover off and see what type of bulb is in there. Possibly a brighter/bigger led could be installed?

I would be interested in this info also, if active with the high beam circuit.

Deer are as numerous as humans in my area and I see carcasses along the road regularly.

My wife is constantly out in the yard chasing them out of her beloved landscaping with a paintball gun. I keep the long guns locked up and away from her.

If she had her way she would have a gatling gun pedestal mounted on the back porch.
