I used Epoxy Garage Floor paint with silica additive for traction and it worked out great. I was worried that the bed liner paint would be to thick and crack since the floor is only plywood and will flex some with weight.
I would check to make sure that whatever rubber mat you decide to use will not be to thick to allow your e-track couplers to engage and disengage properly. Another option for floor matting is to use horse stall mats, they are available at Tractor Supply, you can get either 3/8 or 3/4 thick mats. They are heavy and have ribbing on the bottom so they don't move around under normal use, if they do move on you just drive a FH screw in the corner to hold them in place. I like the ability to remove the mats so I can clean under them if needed.
