enclosed trailer floor

i purchased a used 6 x 10' enclosed trailer- (general use) hopefully haul a golf cart soon.... the floor looks a bit worn and warped in some areas- Looks like 3/4" plywood attached to the frame. I would like to swap it out with new plywood- has anyone done this and is it difficult? The other option is to screw down newer wood over it but I am concerned if the first layer gets more worn out- it would be unsafe......recommendations?

I recommend going with planks like flatbed trailers use if possible. They will last longer and can hold more weight and in the event of a leak won't just come apart.

Before putting down soak them in an oil based paint.

With a trailer that small, I would think you'd be fine to use marine-grade 3/4" plywood as it is likely anything you put in there will have a low pounds-per-square-foot impact on the floor. Double layers will be a problem if any moisture gets between the sheets of ply as that will decay extremely quickly and you'll never know until something break through the floor.

3/4" plywood will handle a golf cart easily and marine grade will last longer than the trailer.
