Thank you very much, NumberDummy! That makes sense that it was ordered from Phoenix since I still have the factory bumper labeled Swift Ford in Yuma, AZ.
I believe the original color was skylight blue since that seems to be the code I found for other years and remnants of the paint are a light blue color. It is now painted a tan-ish white color.
Also, it has a limited slip rear axle now. Could that have been a dealer added option? I am surprised that it came with a non-limited slip.
I just checked and the rear axle is actually a Dana 44, not a 9 inch. Could this limited slip dana 44 be a dealer option or is it swapped on? Either way I was excited to see that!

Compare the VIN stamped on the Warranty Plate to the VIN on the registration to see if they match.
1963/79: People replaced damaged left doors with used doors. 99.9% of the time, they failed to install the original Warranty Plates on the replaced doors.
1959/67 F100: Dana 44 with Limited Slip was optional, but if it came with it originally, the first digit of the AXLE code would be a letter.
The 9" with Limited Slip was not available in F100's until 1968.
And, besides the Dana 44, the rear axle with Limited Slip could also be a Dana 60.2 (1963/66) or a Dana 60.3 (1966/67).
Neither of these are a Dana 60, only installed in F250's.
Completely new to all of this and just bought a 1966 F-100. It will be my first project truck (project vehicle for that matter) and I am completely overwhelmed with where to even start, but figured knowing a bit more about the truck would help.
If anyone could help decode it would be greatly appreciated!
