1966 ranger
here is a email i got from the owner, also with photos
Dear Gary,
This light blue 1966 Ford F-250 Custom Cab work truck with heavy-duty utility box is a very straight, solid, clean truck ready to be restored or put to work. This truck has extremely scarce factory bucket seats with console, aftermarket air conditioning and optional 352 CID V-8 and Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Bucket seats were offered as an option in Ford trucks from 1966 through 1968. The truck was running and driving when it was parked a few years ago. The body and box are dent-free and there is no rust anywhere. The truck is very complete and nothing is missing or damaged. The light blue interior and black bucket seats are in very good condition. The truck was running and driving well. It has been sitting a number of years so the fuel, brake and air conditioning systems must be cleaned and serviced. The truck is $5,500 USD.
Shipping to the container port at Long Beach California is about $700 USD. Shipping by shared 40 foot container to the dock at port Auckland New Zealand is about $2,300 USD plus $75 USD. insurance policy fee and 2% insurance on the total value of the shipment including the shipping costs. You pay all costs from the dock at port Auckland. You must hire a customs agent to import the vehicle into New Zealand.

Must be fairly early 1966 since the cowl plug is the steel plate rather than the rubber plug. I'm not sure exactly when they made the change, but it was sometime during the 1966 production run.
Looks like a fairly dry truck at least. What does it cost to hire a customs agent? That's starting to be a pretty penny at $8,500 at least. Hopefully the COM transmission is in working order because many of the parts of them are getting tough to find.
If you like it I think you should go for it.

Martin - the freight/shipping costs seem a little high. There will also be import/customs costs at your end that are not indicated. Your local shipper can give you a quote that includes everything from Seattle to Auckland. Transport to Seattle is of course extra but there are trucking firms competing for your business.
Also, the seller might swap on an express box unless you want the utility box. They're pretty common where he is.

A/C bezel same as 1963/65 Falcon/Fairlane; 1965/66 Mustang; 1965/67 F100/250.
Personally, I think the asking price is too high when one considers the fact it hasn't run in a long time and the lack of a pickup bed.
Finding the correct 8' Styleside or Flareside bed 'down under' will be daunting.

It's got the closed system oil bath on it like my California built/sold/owned truck has.
Martin, the hubcaps are super rare, especially if they are the stainless steel variation, which I think they are. One appears to be missing - you might want to inquire about that. It appears to have the original locking ring wheels on it.
