I understand (I think) the vin: F100 / 360FE / Norfolk, VA / April build.
I have no idea what the rest is other then the wheel base 131.
Can someone help me with this? My bill of sale says Ranger and it does have the grill but i don't think it really is. Truck came with a second grill in the bed.
That truck has sat in one of the Harbor Freight car ports for over a year. This weekend I found an add on CL for a 69/70 (guy wasn't sure) F100 Cab in excellent condition. I went over and sure enough it was perfect and came with boxes and boxes of pieces. This cab came with doors, all trim and all interior etc... all in great shape. The guy just dropped it off to my house missing a box of stuff and without the title... Now, the guy let me go to his house to look at the cab and was a very up and up guy... I do think I'll get both. The glove box says explorer and thats really all I know.
F103 BH (i think 1 but it might be something else) 12959
131 J F103 1 4 C

Obviously I'm excited to find out that one of these is the missing unicorn F100 that there was only one made and everyone is looking for it. I'm getting ready to get the vin's tatted on my neck so everyone knows I have the missing link to fords dominance over chubby.. just let me know which one......
Kidding aside, can you help me out and let me know what I got in my Harbor Freight Pop-Up
Thanks in advance

On the second truck, the "I" could be n "J" which makes it a '70.
A '70 would have a different gravel shield (below the grill and behind the bumper) than a 69. Does it fit neatly around the turn signals? You can also check the side marker lights and tail lights for a 69 or 70 model year cast into the lense. They could have been replaced but what do most of them say? Time to be sleuthy!!!
It has the toolbox on the pass side and was a complete truck with title. The cab (roof and hood) where terrible. Everything else was in pretty good shape. Anyway $600 had it delivered to my house.

5 81: 5 = Red Crush Vinyl & Red Ladder Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
Custom Cab & Ranger would be body style 81B, first digit would be a letter (there are several different letters w/a red seat).
The 4th (3) & 5th (B) digits of the second VIN are incorrect.
This is from the 68 F100 I originally bought
This is from the new cab I just had delivered and I don't even know what year its from.. The glove box has a explorer tag on it thats all i know and the front window has trim over the rubber
