My current truck has a back up camera which I find invaluable. Full disclosure I use the hitch to tow a fishing boat.
Anyway my question is regarding the tow technology bundle; for those that have this option do you find it useful or are you simply using the rear view camera to hitch up and then are done?
Frankly, the blis and tow package are not worth the money for me. Wish I had not gotten either of them as I don't rely on them at all. With the big mirrors and rear camera I'm good for all I need to do and I tow a 40 foot trailer. Use the rear camera all the time for trailer hook up and backing in general. Use the front camera some and the 360 a bit. But for towing it's all rear camera and side mirrors.
If there was an option to select and use a specific camera when you want as opposed to only when Ford allows you, it would be a much more usable system. I also wish I could get rid of the backup line on CHMSL mounted camera. The damned line totally blocks my view of the gooseneck ball and I can't tell if I've backed up enough or too much.

You can select the camera, press the icon in the upper left of the screen, you'll get a bunch of options (in reverse).
Completely agree on the line, zooming in helps. I'm going to play with the settings more, feels like there must be a way to get rid of this.
I wish I had the 360 and high mount camera for hitching a fiver. I only have the tailgate camera, to much money to add. If I do upgrade to a fiver, I will be trying to do something. Parking the CC LB 360 cameras would come in handy. Mostly getting out of a tight spot.
The 360° cameras do come in handy when parking. I can see the lines in the parking lot and don't have to open the door to see them. I have yet to tow my RV trailer so I can't comment on the tow tech bundle yet.

That is the catch is only in reverse. I wouldn't mind having use of the mirror cameras when I use the blinker. Or to select whatever camera I want regardless of whether I'm in drive, reverse, or neutral. If y'all figure out how to get rid of the line, let me know.
