Tuner question
I found an SCT X4 and race pipe combo for sale by Rudys. The price is good, just wondering what the tunes were like from them. Anyone know? My truck will be losing some weight soon but I don't want a hot rod. I a tow heavy fifth wheel about once a month. I'd like to see increased mpg and no more regen. Anyone have any insight?
Thanks

If I stand on the throttle from a dead stop, it will blow some smoke. If I am already moving, and stand on it to pass, it will puff briefly as well. In normal driving, I do not get smoke.
The first few days after I loaded my first tune, the trans was going through its relearn process and wasn't as buttery smooth as it was before the tune, but quickly went back to awesome, and have had no issues with the engine or trans since.
I picked up around 1.5 - 2 MPG on mine with conservative driving on 90% highway - which was the same type of driving I was doing before the delete and tune. Not only was I no longer using fuel to regen, my engine was more efficient without the EGR putting more inert gas back into the cylinders taking up space.
