Good engine rebuild book
I have asked this also under the engine section of this forum.
I have two trucks and a mustang I am working on. 302 and 289 engines. I am pretty good around these vehicles. Have never done a complete rebuild.
I want to rebuild a spare 302 engine I have. Nothing other than stock.
I have the shop manual. Is this good enough or do I get another?
Is the Tom Monroe How to Rebuild Small-Block Ford Engines, the best book to get?
Thanks

I have Tom Monroe's "How to rebuild Ford V8 Engines" and it is an excellent reference coupled with the service manual.

I second Tom Monroe stuff. If his 302 book is anything like the 351C, 351M, 400, 429 or 460 Ford V8s book I used it is good. Also I second the suggestion for the ford service manuals it is an excellent reference.
