Seat interchange
I have been looking for days and apparently I am entering the wrong search criteria. I have a 79Bronco with bucket seats. The misses wants a bench seat so she can sit beside me.
I found a bench seat from a 91/92 and want to know will this bolt on to the 73/79 floor? OR will it bolt to the bench track from a 73/79 ? I can find a 73/79 bench seat track at the junk yard.
I hope this makes sense.

There seem to be many going the opposite direction who may have the stock rails and be willing to give them to you. I love your Misses' idea as that is actually the main reason I bought my truck. I enjoy having my girl sittin right here with me. I wouldn't give up my stock bench for anything.

Yes take the 91/92 seat and bolt it to a 73-79 bench rack (slider track/frame).
FYI lots of folks want those Bronco buckets for there truck. Flip sale opportunity.

Thankyou for the replies. I thought the 91/2 seat would bolt to the old track but before I bought the seat I wanted to be sure. I will keep the buckets to switch back later if need be.
