In BC, there is a luxury tax on vehicles over $55000 but only on personal vehicles so a 250 is taxed and 350 is not...go figure. So happy to go with a 350 for about $2000 more. I am open to the linex bed liner. Not going for the diesel for another $10000. I will have to think about the LED lights and the 4.30 axle. I am surprised no one mentioned that I should buy the Lariat Ultimate package. In Canada it is about $5500 for it. Don't need the moonroof although it is cool but thought I would save the money.
You should also check out the other forums on this site there's lots of info on the gasser with 3:73 vs 4:30 don't make the same mistake a lot have made
Also, I recommend Linex over the Ford liner. The Ford liner isn't prepped properly, and therefore, an inferior product, assuming the Linex is installed correctly.
Otherwise, nice build!
When I ordered my truck my dealer strongly urged me not to get Ford to spray the liner. They use a local company and tell me it's a much stronger/durable product.

A lot of US buyers opted for the Lariat Ultimate package because, for us, it is a requirement to get the LED lights. Being in Canada, you do not have the same order guide as we do.
thanks. I don't believe the LED lights are included in the Lariat Ultimate when in Canada. I know it is an option on the base Lariat. $1200 cdn plus you must also get BLIS for $650. The Lariat Ultimate option is $5700 I think. Included moonroof, tailgate step, remote start, easy entry/exit, memory seat, intelligent access with push button start, power telescoping/tilt steering wheel/column with heat, memory and audio controls, remote tailgate release, and navigation. There are a few things in the list that I would like and can order those for much less. And don't really want moonroof. One thing I forgot to put on my list is power running boards.
LED lights are not included with the Ultimate package in Canada. Lane keeping is only available with the Ultimate package on the Canadian site. If you try to add it separately it tries to add the Ultimate package. I probably would have ordered that but didn't want a sunroof. The memory seats, power pedals and tilt steering and audio controls are part of the Lariat base. No heated steering wheel though.
thanks for the info. I think I listed the items in the Canadian Ultimate package from the ford web site. I did not want the sunroof either. The LED lights are not listed so are an option for either. I think I will add remote start and tailgate step...and navigation. But all the other things I can live without. I have a hard time adding $1200 for the LED lights and then they make you add BLIS I think for another $650. $5675 for the Ultimate package in Canada Is way too much for what you get. The funny thing is all the f350 on the lots have ultimate package. I know I will need to order my truck to get it the way I want it.
