Rexing Dashcam Video

Let me know when you get your Titan Tank installed. LOL
-Chris
The guy in the SUV runs a stop sign, hits the white car, she almost hits me (I went up on the curb). The girl continues on up the curb on her side and into someones front yard, ripping the left front wheel and strut off along the way.
The 'non-national" in the SUV got out and started screaming at the girl for causing the accident.
Became a bit of an issue until the PD showed up.
I added the dash cam after we got run off the road pulling the toy hauler on on I80 in New York.
By a canadian tractor trailer, who passed me on the right, in a single lane construction zone.
Too many idiots on the road, and the bigger the load you are pulling the more of an idiot they can be.
I now have to start editing out my wife's audio
A dash cam may get you out of a yellow - red light ticket (I did not get pulled over but I saved the video as a test)
Depending on what software you use, you can crop the video. This is a cropped video of Costco's self parking shopping carts. A little tough to see some of it because of the distance, but one cart actually stops, waits for a truck to pass then continues on.
You posted some good videos there. Its making me think more seriously about buying a camera. However, every time I settle on buying one, I start reading online reviews and change my mind. It seems that they all have terrible problems, I'm just not sure which one to trust.
I've lost confidence in the Amazon reviews. In hundreds of reviews that I've submitted, I've only submitted two negative ones for crappy products, and both times Amazon rejected them. They accept all positive reviews without a problem. Apparently they don't want our negative reviews as it may hurt their sales.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
My cam is one that Costco carried, a Garmin 20 IIRC. It does have the motion sensor and stays on for 5 minutes after power is removed.
For the shopping cart video (they are all Costco carts BTW) I was still in the truck when I noticed the first cart. So I stayed for about 15 minutes enjoying the show. And not one car was hit!
My camera has a save feature that will change the file attribute to "locked". Since the video files are saved and 'rollover' as the card gets filled, saving is suppose to insure you get to keep a video.
This past fall's 5 week RV trip I hit save every time we were cut off, thinking I would make a short video montage when we got home. It was 5 months before I pulled the card and none of those saved files were there. But year old saved videos were, go figure.
My guess is that I had 30-40 saves, and the best was a road rage Ram driver versus a go-cart on the road, that ran out in front of us - on a curve, going downhill with 18,000 pounds behind me!
I'm considering the Lukas dash cam as it is 1080p and has a rear cam that syncs with the front cam.
Although there is nothing spectacular about this video, it is my favorite trip every year. We go to a Golden Retriever event held at a children's camp in Freedom, NH every September.
A bit of a challenge pulling the 5th wheel through (the video makes it look easy) but the end result is so worth it. The last overhead sign you see requires roof top intervention with me holding the sign up and hoping my wife understands slow and easy (so far - so good, 5 attempts).
We pull right up to the lake with the RV then position it on the basketball court.
That is our Cyclone at the end.
BTW, all of the videos from my dash cam are a much better quality then what posts on youtube. I watch and edit them on a Apple 27" monitor and they are very clear, at least the daylight videos are very good.
On the mercedes cut off video I was able to grab a still of the plate and zoom in and see all the detail on the license plate, right down to the dents and scratches.
