I have a P1277 Code and I replaced the Valve cover gasket and I am still getting the code. I just measured the resistance to the number 7 at the connection on the driver side and I get 3.2 so I am now thinking I have a bad injector. I read somewhere I should take off the solenoid and make sure the screw is not loose for the flapper. That could cause a P1277. or at this point should I just replace the injector. I have done everything else I can think of.
My question is, is it worth going through the trouble of pulling the solenoid? and checking the screw to the armature, or that this point is it better to just get an injector?
