stupid question about core support

stupid question about core support
Having trouble remembering how the bolts to the frame connect the front support. There are some rubber bushings in the bolts, and it looks like the support just rests on them, and they bolt to the frame, does that sound right? It doesn't seem right to me and I can't find a drawing which shows the assembly and how its supposed to go. Its for a 64 F100
