No sound clips as of yet, but did get muffler in tonight, went with a Donaldson M085421; lower flow ratings compared to the M085171 but higher attenuation. Thus far I am happy just me so used high idle to check it out, there is enough delay I can turn if off and make it back there pretty easy. Does allow the whistle to shine through...
A remote start and a remote shutdown while standing near the exhaust outlet is also quite pleasurable.
I just purchased my egr/dpf delete through Mikey's diesel for $1100. Got the sct Livewire, flow pro delete pipe, and river city egr delete. Got free shipping too. Good deal.
Dude, you're 5 years too late. This thread is old.
The EPA has been coming down hard on the delete tuners and shops. No one is coming here to send you anything. The guy who founded Spartan technologies and Patriot Diagnostics just got sentenced to 1 year in prison and to pay a hefty fine.
Get online. There are options out there. Find the friend of a friend of a small shop. Otherwise, you're out of luck.
Just did a delete on my 2019-F250 6.7L. Mechanic used a MiniMax tuner and did a physical remove on tail pipe and other gear. Loaded program from from MiniMax and everything was good until at 60 he tried to pull out and pass someone and the acceleration was minimal. You would eventually get to top speed. But the system is curtailing the power. Its like the turbo is locked at 25%.?. Tried to work it out with the supplier and they have thrown their hands up. They do everything online and through email. No technicians will get on the phone.
Thinking it was the tuner, we've ordered a BullyDog SCT from Contact | DPF Delete Shop Didn't realize they were in the Cayman Islands so I'm afraid maybe we've gone from bad to worse. They won't respond to emails and have no phone number to call.
We are waiting for Aug 1 when the website says products will ship that were ordered in the last 2 weeks.
Any ideas on the issue with truck or more credible US based tuner sales for Powerstroke deletes? I'm new to this. My mechanic has done dozens of these, and this is the first time he's had this issue too.
Should have mention that holding it to accelerate when I somewhat "had to" the computer threw a code and reduced power mode. The code referenced reading from ERG or something like that which tells us the program doesn't have everything it needs.

Did he remove the emissions before or after loading the file? Haven't had any issues ordering from the Caymans.
